• 6. Favorite BassistI wonder what would happen if I don’t say Pete Wentz. Personality wise, Pete. He’s an awesome person and I love him to death. But technicality wise he’s not THAT great a bassist. He’s not even bad, he’s just not the best. So probably Mark Hoppus in that aspect. Roger Waters, Flea, Geddy Lee, and Paul McCartney are all legends though.

Wow, that’s terrible. I’m sorry it got that bad for you. I’ve had some pretty intense moments but I always try really hard to not let it get to me. It got bad enough that I opted out of AP classes and dual enrollment for my last year of high school and now writing makes me really anxious. People don’t realize how their words can affect people. 

But, everything else aside, you’re not inadequate. I know some things seem really important like making the best grades and getting into the best universities, etc. but that’s not important. Just do what makes you comfortable and happy and makes you want to get out of bed in the morning. As long as you’re happy you have purpose. And you ALWAYS matter.

Unpopular Opinion: I still really can’t think of anything. Maybe that they should slow down on the tours? They’ve been touring almost nonstop since they got back together and I’m just like “Hey are you guys okay? I know you’re excited but you can take a couple months off, hang out, sleep in your own bed, are you feeling well? Do you need anything? Please take time to be okay I love you,” but they seem to know what they’re doing so I’ll trust their judgement.

I dunno. If it’s a band that’s currently together and stuff I’d like to see Hatebreed. Or Blink 182, Angels And Airwaves (sorry Tom), Taking Back Sunday, etc. I have no idea. I want to see so many bands. If I could see a band that’s not together anymore I’d probably see Underoath. And if I could like travel through time to see a band when they were younger I’d totally go see Black Sabbath or maybe Iron Maiden. Or Fall Out Boy but they don’t count.

vocals: can you sing? do you like to sing?
can I sing? Heck no H2O. do I like to sing? heck yeah. (so very sorry to anyone who is withing hearing distance.) I went to a local show last weekend and there was this less than awesome like uhhh metalcore(?) band playing and I went inside to get coffee (yeah, I know) and I was like playing air drums and doing the low scream/growl thing they always do that no one understands (I sincerely appreciate good hardcore music, don’t get me wrong but they’re literally 20 minutes of breakdowns outside of a coffee shop, crash cymbals and double bass and everything so) and the barista looked at me and she was like “you’re actually really good at that,” and I got embarrassed. and then she said i was going to be famous one day and ha. i’m like the pete wentz of vocalists; you don’t want me to sing and my screams are questionable. 

gig: how many concerts have you been to? which has been your favorite?
I’ve only been to one actual concert and it was FOB on the SRAR 2013 arena tour and it was amazing. It’s almost my favorite by default. I’ve been to countless local shows though. I saw Norma Jean once too and didn’t realize how big they were. 

album: recommend an album not in the mainstream!
Okay so this is hard because if I’ve heard of something it’s usually not that underground but there’s an EP by a band called Passing A Starfighter and it’s called Reminisce and it’s so good for a shitty local band.
