learning a while back that most people think pete wentz is white or even white-passing was news to me bc i don’t think i ever did?? even as a middle schooler way back in 2005/2006 when i first started seeing him everywhere….anyways im a DUMBASS and played myself by doing so but. im all riled up rn bc i was lookin for pics of his natural hair on google (i got such a fondness for it ;___;), and almost every photo was from from an article/thread about how ugly and gross he looks and that he’s gotta straighten it again ASAP :^((( i get so sad and heated over that and it’s literally just racism plain and simple….
he’s spoken openly abt his heritage being important to him so i’d hoped folks wouldn’t pull that shit now but when he got cornrows and put a pic on instagram like 90% of the comments were scolding him for “cultural appropriation” and im 100% sure everyone doin was a 16 yr old white kid like. let’s be real. it got so messy that he actually took the photo down and i was so sad for like 2 months straight….plus it was like the hottest look i’d ever seen on him lmao so that just added to the tragedy. but seriously it’s really obvious from his childhood pics that he’s biracial and it’s really NOT hard to find those -___-
